A Classmate’s Testimony
We had “Wika at Relihyon” (Language and Religion) as a topic for reporting during our Fil 40 class. The group assigned this topic happened to have 2 born-agains and truly enough they delivered. After some facts and whatnot on what language is and religion is they discussed how they are related and how they affect each other but let’s get to the really interesting and inspiring part, if I dare say.

“Thank you for such a beautiful writing. I feel the same, even though my age is about 3~4 times as old as you are. Jeremy Lin touches the lives in a magnitude that I have never seen before. I normally don’t follow any stars or celebrities because I don’t want to waste my time and energy in those man made beauties. However, with Jeremy coming to this world at this time, I think God has His purpose to bring Chinese (especially China) to a God friendly country. How is the world will Christian ever break major grounds without a seed like Jeremy Lin? I was praying for it to happen in the past but I honestly would never thought about God would use Jeremy Lin to spread the gospel. How could that be possible? I am thankful to God. I died to the world and was born into Christ 21st August 2011. I am of Chinese ethnicity though currently residing in the 'heart of the world,' so to speak. This blog is all about my life experiences as I go on my journey hand-in-hand with the Lord. Surely, I am not the one at work but merely a medium through whom He works. I'm living IN this world but not OF this world. I like to play the guitar, sing, draw, read, and write. I hope to one day be of service to the Lord. My things tend to be in the shade of violet--including my Bible, yes. Hillsong keeps me HIGH--so do other Christian artists' songs. Jeremy Lin is a role-model but Jesus is the ONLY one I follow. I'm getting way ahead of myself, but cheers for God has shown us mercy and forgiveness. I try to keep away from mainstream and I like to drink milk tea.
